Discourse (Noun)

Meaning: a formal discussion of a topic in speech or writing. (सभाषणं, उपदेश)

Synonyms: Treatise, Dissertation, Conversation, Preaching

Antonyms: Silence, Mum, Taciturnity, Catcall, Zip

Example: The discourse touches many of the issues which are currently popular.


Invoke (Verb)

Meaning: Call on (a deity or spirit) in prayer, as a witness, or for inspiration; call earnestly for. (आह्वान)

Synonyms: Supplicate, Solicit, Beseech, Implore, Evoke

Antonyms: Waive, Relinquish, Renounce

Example: The UN threatened to invoke economic sanctions if the talks were broken off.


Diverse (Adjective)

Meaning: showing a great deal of variety; very different. (विविध)

Synonyms: Sundry, Various, Miscellaneous, Assorted, Heterogeneous

Example: India is quite diverse, both politically and religiously.

Ulterior (Adjective)

Meaning: existing beyond what is obvious or admitted; intentionally hidden. (गप्तु , अप्रत्यक्ष)
